About YPN

The Young Professionals Network (YPN) supports public relations professionals in their first five years of practice. YPN hosts monthly workshops, panels and socials in partnership with Chicago’s most influential PR agencies and leaders to provide career development and networking opportunities.

In addition to regular programming, the YPN facilitates a mentoring program for communications professionals. Our mentoring program individually matches pairs and supports the development of each new mentoring relationship with monthly check-ins to enhance the learning experience. Seeking a mentor? Contact PRSA Chicago Professional Development Chair, Lisa Lesniak.

YPN also supports aspiring collegiate public relations professionals. Serving as the chapter’s PRSSA liaison, the Young Professionals Network connects with public relations students and programs at universities throughout greater Chicago to broaden students’ understanding of, and appreciation for, the public relations profession.

Interested in getting involved or want to attend an upcoming program? Contact YPN Committee Chairs Erika Kubik and Tanner Walters for more information.
