SPEAKERS

Kimberly Eberl
CEO and Founder, The Motion Agency
@KimberlyEberl
@themotionagency
Kimberly Eberl is the Founder and CEO of Chicago-based integrated marketing services firm, Motion. Eberl opened Motion in 2006 and has grown the agency steadily year after year.

Eberl’s entrepreneurial-minded team of over 60 people represents brands such as The Home Depot, Whirlpool, Simon Property Group, Tractor Supply, Gold Eagle, Boys and Girls Club of America, Lurie's Children's Hospital Foundation and more. Motion was recently ranked #23 in Adweek as one of the “Fastest Growing Agencies” in the world.

Prior to opening her firm, Eberl worked at Ogilvy PR & Weber Shandwick. Eberl has a B.A. in public relations from Marquette University. Her track record also includes completing more than 116 races of various distances, seven of which were marathons. She’s a member of the Color Marketing Group, Public Relations Society of America, the Publicity Club of Chicago and PR Council. She is also an advocate of the MS Society.

@danpooley
@FinnPartners
Dan has nearly 25 years of agency experience and leads Finn Partners Midwest. He has been with the firm since 2009, leading up to its public launch in 2011. Finn Partners is a digital-forward firm and one of the fastest growing in the industry. Today, it operates 20 offices globally with leading practices in technology, healthcare, consumer, travel, financial services, education, public affairs and the arts.

Dan is a graduate of the University of Iowa.

Ginger Porter
President, Central, Golin
@GOLINglobal
Ginger Porter is the president of the Central region, responsible for managing the agency’s headquarter office in Chicago, as well as oversight of Golin Dallas.

Fanatical about the power of earning attention for brands, Porter takes a progressive, earned first approach to public relations – believing earned first’s power to elevate brands above others comes from being data-driven, creatively brave and relevance-obsessed.

Porter brings more than 20 years of experience in branding, earned media, social media strategy and execution, messaging, influencer engagement, and social purpose. Prior to her work in public relations, Porter worked in advertising, whetting her desire for earning attention versus paying for it. Porter began her career in broadcasting and she’s thankful her sizzle reels are conveniently missing.

Her success in building Golin stems from her ability to foster an inclusive culture where Goliners can celebrate their courageously happy ways. She’s addicted to helping clients win every day, relentlessly pursuing deep insights and bold ideas, and harnessing the power of social media in today’s “always on” world.
