2021 Board Nomination Form

Thank you for your interest in the 2021 PRSA Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is a prestigious group of professionals in the Chicago area that acts as the local governing body and working team for PRSA. Each year, the chapter accepts applications for new board members. Outlined below is a list of qualifications and responsibilities for the position. Please use the application form to nominate yourself or another individual. The board slate will be posted to www.prsachicago.com and shared with chapter members for approval.

PRSA Chicago Board Member Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Commitment to three-year term
  • Current member of PRSA Chicago
  • Assume leadership for one of the chapter’s committees
  • Attend all monthly board meetings and retreats
  • Register and attend 80 percent of programs
  • Support efforts to recruit and retain chapter members, partners and board members
  • Ongoing support of programming (recruiting speakers, moderators, maximizing venue and service provider relationships)
  • Ensure the business and affairs of the chapter are conducted in accordance with chapter and national bylaws and in the best interest of the members
  • Perform specific responsibilities the president and board may assign as needed

As we finalize the board for 2021, we will have some open positions. Please prioritize your interests for these areas by ranking your top choice(s). Please rank up to three (3). The executive board will consider these preferences when making final decisions concerning the 2021 board slate.
