Skyline PERSONALITY Awards

Due to the disruption that COVID-19 has caused for businesses and organizations, PRSA Chicago has extended the deadline for the 2020 Skyline Personality Award nominations until Friday, May 1 at 5 p.m. CT.

Open to all PR professionals, including those who work at a PR firm, corporation, nonprofit, trade group, or any other non-PR-agency entity. Honor a professional you respect, and whose work has made a difference for Chicagoland’s public relations industry, by nominating him or her for a PRSA Chicago Personality Award:

Professional of the Year

This award honors the accomplishments of one exceptional public relations professional. It recognizes the professional achievements and activities that have advanced the profession and the practice of public relations during the duration of his or her career. Nominees should have at least 20 years of related work experience including but not limited to agency, in-house, education and/or volunteer roles. Young Professional of the Year

This award celebrates the accomplishments of a rising star in the public relations profession, recognizing him or her as a next generation leader. Nominees should be age 30 or younger with related work experience including but not limited to agency, in-house, education and/or volunteer roles. Diversity & Inclusion Champion of the Year

This award recognizes one exceptional individual who is a role model and champion of diversity and inclusion through both their present actions, as well as throughout their professional public relations career. Click to submit a D&I Champion of the Year nomination.

Educator of the Year

This award recognizes one exceptional educator in the Chicagoland area who has taught public relations or a closely-related discipline, and who has demonstrated a commitment to advance the profession of public relations through college or university teaching. Team of the Year

This award recognizes one exceptional team that demonstrated strategic and creative thinking, successful collaboration, flawless execution and impactful business results. Open to agency teams (e.g. a specific client team or specialty team versus an entire agency) and in-house corporate, government or nonprofit communications team. Nomination Guidelines

  • The deadline for all 2020 nominations has been extended to Friday, May 1 at 5 p.m. CT.
  • All nominations will be submitted online.
  • Click the above links to nominate yourself, a colleague or team for a specific Personality Award.
  • All nominations should clearly specify the Personality Award for which they are submitting the nominee.
